Unity is Going Paperless (well, mostly)

Written by Unity United Church on. Posted in News

Do you know that Unity United Church used between 6 and 10 thousand sheets of paper last year–each of those sheets passed through its photocopier? (Keep reading, please)

That’s a lot of money, a lot of ink and a lot of hours passing into the recycling bucket. Speaking of passing, the photo-copier passed away last week. It served the church well over the years but it had become a money pit. And since the worship committee had already wanted to eliminate bulletins, the leadership team made the decision to do away with bulletins and get a printer instead of getting a whole new copier. It’s great stewardship! Now of course, if bulletins are requested for reasons connected to the Provincial Accessibility Act, they will be made available. Comments concerning this change can be directed to our leadership team and the worship committee. Paper copies of the Heartbeat (our weekly newsletter) will continue to be available at the church as well as through email.
